Every three months, you will receive by mail a cheque equal to the 1% of your
purchases that you have made anywhere, with your American Express Card.
You can redeem this cheque at the cashiers of ALFAMEGA within one year of the
date of issue. You will receive this cheque provided that its value is of €9 or
more. If the value is less than €9, your transactions still count on the next
trimester. The trimesters are January- March, April – June, July - September,
October – December. Cheques will be sent at the beginning of the following
month.
In addition, you will receive a point’s voucher with the HyperCard points that
you are entitled to, since for every €15 purchases that you have made anywhere,
using your American Express card, you receive 1 HyperCard point. This voucher
must be presented at the HyperCard centers that are located in the ALFAMEGA
Hypermarkets within two months of the date of issue.
To become a Member of American Express
You can fill out an American Express application at the ALFAMEGA Hypermarkets
or at any Bank of Cyprus branch.
For existing American Express Members
In order to enrol in this new ALFAMEGA AMERICAN EXPRESS scheme, you must fill
out the “switching schemes’ form”. You can find the switching form at any
ALFAMEGA Hypermarket or at any Bank of Cyprus Branch and your participation in
the scheme starts immediately.
The points that you have gathered so far with Dorometro Express will not be
lost. You can redeem the points into a cheque with the following formula: 100 DoroMetro Express points = €10 cheque + 40 HyperCard points
